I just finished DevOps bootcamp and applied for the certificate. My journey in this bootcamp is fantastic! It wasn't easy. The learning process required a lot of self-discipline and dedication. I got stuck constantly working on the projects. At first, I got frustrated easily, but I grew into really enjoying the process of unstuck myself--quick tips: it required a lot of googling and specifically thanks to Stackoverflow answers. I purchased the basic version of the course, well, for some reasons. However, if I were redoing it, I will definitely purchase the premium version so that I can have the 6 months help.

Nana's projects are really well designed. It's basically what you will be handling in the real production world. Most projects are designed based on the projects from the former modules. I find it really helpful because it drives me to review the knowledges I learned all the time. And this bootcamp have capstone project to work on. It's a showcase of our work throughout the bootcamp. I feel this validation process very valuable, because it makes us take it really seriously. The finial DevOps Practitioner Certificate is validated among the employers too. I feel like earning this certificate gives me more sense of achievement than any of the degrees I got, because this was all active learning.

I really enjoyed the DevOps bootcamp. The best thing is that nearly everything integrated with my daily job. For example, the Kubernetes part gave me a lot of confidence in my daily job.

I can’t recommend this course enough. It’s the most thorough, well-structured and perfectly explained course I have ever taken on software engineering.

I wish I could have taken this course when I was starting out in IT. It would have saved me a lot of time and frustration in the learning process.

Nana is just amazing in how she explains concepts from different perspectives. She delivers the concepts in the most understandable way, she breaks down complex concepts and makes you understand them so effortlessly.

I know that some courses or bootcamps with similar curriculum, but not such a good explanation, often cost several thousands of dollars.

DevOps Engineer - DevOps Bootcamp Student

I completed 4 certifications between Aug 2020 - Apr 2021. 3x AWS Associates and Terraform. I started applying for 100+ jobs and didn't even receive 1 interview stage. I have done a lot of research between April-July. I started Linux and Python courses and a DevOps full bootcamp course on Udemy but i found them boring + confusing. I stumbled across Nana on Youtube and simply found her videos AMAZING!!

As a visual learner the way she explained the concepts in her videos was really great. I started watching as many videos as possible. Everything started clicking. I saw she advertised her DevOps bootcamp and I did not hesitate in purchasing this course. I took some time off work and spent nearly 6-8 hours a day for a month and completed the full bootcamp.

This DevOps bootcamp is an awesome training to learn or improve key DevOps assets.

Thanks to this learning journey, I was not only able to deep dive into existing technical items my DevOps team is using in a daily basis ( jenkins, kubernetes, prometheus,...), but I was also able to learn new assets like terraform which allow me today to raise my skills one step further.

100% Worth it!

I had already some experience as a programmer in different languages and working in a couple of companies before taking this course. I started it around April and finished around mid-October.

It is a long ride but I have to say it was totally worth it.

Usually, when working in a company and having not much knowledge in the DevOps area it seems like a daunting and obscure world. That was exactly my case. I tried to auto-learn some topics but they led to more topics, many of which were outdated or not useful for what I needed.

I have to say taking this course was a great decision: it gave me a clear path to follow, re-using previous topics, so I had the feeling I wasn't letting anything out.

For example, I learned to use docker containers. After that, I learned the use of AWS services, but by then containers were my bread and butter in each exercise I worked with. By the time I reached Kubernetes, I was typing docker commands automatically. The same experience repeated with other topics.

I also appreciate a lot all the help from Nana's technical team and the community. Everytime I got stuck there was someone to help.

Also, if you feel afraid of using Cloud services, don't worry, you will lose that fear and you'll feel safe there. A technique I followed was to create a project (couple of instances, maybe a K8s cluster, etc) and then use it for some hours.

Then I used to destroy everything and check the Cloud service analysis to detect how much I was being charged and what specific services were the more expensive and why. If you try all the exercises you may pay extra 50-60 euros in services, but it's completely worth it: at the end you may even calculate how much would it take to create a project with certain specifications, which is truly useful for planning budgets either you work in a company or if you have your own project in mind.

I totally recommend this bootcamp to whoever is looking to learn DevOps.

This ultimate K8s admin course has given me so much confidence to perform as a DevOps practitioner, implementing kubernetes administrative tasks like setting up a kubernetes cluster from scratch, configuring nodes and pods network architecture, creating TLS Certifications to key kubernetes components in the control plane and worker nodes and implemeting RBAC to both user and service account holders and many more technical skills.
